About the project

Hachiko celebrates its 100th birthday in 2023.
Looking back on these 100 years and looking forward to the next 100, HACHI100 Project Executive Committee was formed with members from Shibuya and Odate.
To share the love for Hachi and expand the circle of exchange, on 8th August 2022 10:08AM, the kickoff of HACHI100 Project; in November of the same year, Hachi's 99th birthday celebration; and in November 2023, its 100th.
We would like to invite you to learn more about Japan's most famous dog, Hachi, and hopefully take away some life lessons.

... And many other events are currently being planned. Feel free to let us know if you have any interesting ideas!

Feel free to use the official logo.
Upon submission and approval of the application form, permission to use the logo on goods, packaging, as well as at events will be granted. Please check the terms and conditions before applying.
